If you don’t want to make the drive or are busy during one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day Parades in Connecticut (New Haven’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade), then it’s your lucky day! There are plenty more to attend and some that may even be closer to you!

Here is a list of St. Patrick’s Day Parades all over Connecticut. Enjoy!

March, 9 2019 – Milford, CT – Start: 1:00 PM – Free Admission – Begins: River & Broad Streets Milford, CT

You will have plenty of options on this day because Milford, Essex, and Hartford all have parades on the 9th!

St. Patricks day - Munich

March 9, 2019 – Essex, CT – Start: 10:30 AM – Free admission – Begins: 29 West Ave Essex, CT

Essex is hosting their 9th annual St. Patrick’s Go Bragh Parade! Essex’s very own Park and Rec will be sponsoring the event which will include a color guard comprised of Essex’s own veterans and cool antique cars from the Essex Auto Club! Bring the kids – they are sure to have a blast!

March 9, 2019 – Hartford, CT – Start: 11:00 AM – Free Admission – Begins: Capitol Ave, Hartford CT

Did you know about the Central Connecticut Celtic Cultural Community organization? Well you do now! Best part of all is that they are having a parade in the Greater Hartford area on March 9, 2019. Surrounding towns are participating in their marching parade. It starts at 11:00 AM!

March 10, 2019 – New Haven, CT – Start: 1:30 PM – Free Admission – Begins: Chapel St. New Haven, CT

Just another one of New Haven’s amazing annual events, this year’s New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on March 10. It is one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parades in Connecticut. The parade will include 3,000 marchers and of course music!

March 15, 2019 – Bridgeport, CT – 12:00 PM – Free Admission – begins: Broad St. Bridgeport, CT

This will be Greater Bridgeport’s 37th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This parade has consistently grown within the community over the years.

March 17, 2019 – New London, CT – 1:00 PM – Admission: Free – Begins: Main St. New London, CT

Check this fun parade out in New London. Bring the family and make a great day out of it by sticking to Irish traditions!

March 24, 2019 – Greenwich, CT – 2:00 PM – Free Admission – Begins: East Putnam Ave. Greenwich, CT

All you can expect and more at a St. Patrick’s Day Parade. A day of fun with the family!

March 24, 2019 – Meriden, CT – 2:00 PM – Free Admission – Begins: East Main St. & Parker Ave. Meriden, CT

This will be Meriden’s 45th St. Patrick’s Day parade. There will be something for everyone to enjoy!

March 24, 2019 – Mystic – 1:00 PM – Free Admission – Begins: Greenmanville Ave. Mystic, CT

A fun day at the Parade goes well with a tour of the Mystic Aquarium afterwards! While admission for the aquarium is not free, there is no cost for the parade of course. You can have a fun-packed day with the family if you’re making a drive to Mystic!

St. Paddy

If you’re too cool for Connecticut and prefer to make a drive out of state, you have plenty of options. You could make a fun weekend by coupling a parade with other events and activities. Mt. Snow in Vermont is having a parade and you could check out the slopes after. Or visit Cape Cod and tour some shark museums this time of the year!
