Cristina took some time this week to look back on the progress she has made over the past couple of months. Seeing how far she has already come in a short period of time has reinforced her commitment to becoming financially secure. Cristina can now see clearly that the little extra money she is putting towards her credit card debt each payment is really making a difference. Also, the deposits that she is making to her savings account are starting to add up. Sometimes it was frustrating when she wasn’t seeing quicker results, but the consistent small steps have helped her make it a long way. –Troy Cassidy, Branford Branch Manager
Susan is doing a great job at working toward achieving her ConneXfactor goals. She is diligently saving and building her emergency fund balance. Additionally, Susan is enjoying seeing her credit card balances fall. Susan continues to delete tempting sales offers and sticks to the necessities. Susan has kept saving fun with a coupon challenge and a 31-day challenge with friends. –Frank Pomarico, Hamden Branch Manager
Last year Janet purchased a newer car when her existing car broke down. She determined it was becoming unreliable and too expensive to keep putting money into for maintenance. She was happy with the low rates offered with Connex financing and she took out an auto loan that was very affordable for her. Janet just received her car tax bill that will be due in July. Janet didn’t realize the tax payment would increase so much when she changed cars. We are now making adjustments to her annual budget to care for this increase. Either way Janet will forge ahead and manage this annual expense because she stays very close to her spending and now knows where her money is going. In reality Janet can rest easy knowing she has a reliable car that keeps her son safe. –Melissa O’Connor, Guilford Branch Manager
