All About New Haven

Next in our “All About” series is the Connex New Haven branch! The New Haven branch is also known as the Whitney Ave. branch and is located at 2 Whitney Avenue. If there was a song to describe the New Haven branch, it would have to be the Cheer’s theme song. New Haven usually has cookies out every Thursday and Friday as a treat for the members. They also recently celebrated Service Coordinator Karen’s anniversary for her 30 years of service! Karen has built up a deep connection with many members.

“At the New Haven branch, you’re more than a number, a customer, or a member. We know you by name, which makes you family. Stop by anytime, you’re always welcome!”    – Karen B. – Service Coordinator at New Haven

The Team

Where’s Karen? John? Shane? Mandy? Jen?

Members at the New Haven branch sometimes have their “favorites.” When a team member has the day off there’s always a member asking if Karen, John, Shane, Mandy, or Jen is there.

Quick Tip

Want the skinny on when New Haven is the busiest? Employee feedback suggests Mondays, Fridays, and lunch time during the week have a steady flow of members. When looking for as little wait time as possible, avoiding peak business times can be helpful.

How can I improve my credit score?

This is a popular question at the New Haven branch. Luckily, as part of our Unbank University series, we have a credit score workshop available on our YouTube page. Please watch the following presentation to learn how your credit score works and how you can improve it.
