As the new VP of Unbanking, I have to remember the faces of many people at Connex. This will help me establish great working relationships with people across the organization. The same goes for Connex employees, especially those in the branches who interact with members directly. To learn about this firsthand, I decided to spend some time behind the scenes and observe member service at the Hamden branch. The first thing I noticed was members who approached the teller line weren’t greeted with blank faces. What I liked most was the tellers seemed to really know the members. The conversations going on at the teller line were very engaging. It seemed like stopping by to deposit a paycheck was more like playing catch-up with a friend!
