Not sure how to access your Connex account through our secure website to pay your bills? Confused about how to chat online to speak with a Member Service Representative about your account?

Help us help you! We would like to start a series of Online User Seminars to educate our members about the online and electronic services we offer and teach you how to use them. The seminars, to be held at a convenient time in the evening, will cover topics such as:
• How to use our Online Chat function to speak to a Connex representative live
• How to pay your bills electronically using online Bill Pay
• How to manage your accounts online using FinanceWorks software

Here’s where your opinion comes in. Would you attend these seminars? If so, what time would you consider convenient? Are there any topics that you would like to see discussed? Comment on this blog post with your thoughts.

    I just opened a business account at the East Hartford Connex Credit Union. I received a very nice card welcoming me to the credit union as a member, a big book of checks for my new account, and went there today only to discover a sign in the door stating that the East Hartford location is closing on March 13, 2009.

    What gives???

    Yes, after careful consideration, we have decided to close our East Hartford branch next month. This may seem like bad news to you and other members who live in the East Hartford area, especially since you recently opened your account with us. We totally understand you may have gotten used to going to this branch and don’t want to lose that sense of convenience. We strive to make sure that the financial needs of Connex members are met which is why we have options for you to make your account transactions:

    • When you need to make routine transactions in person and can’t get to another Connex branch, you’ll have access to eight Credit Union Service Center (CUSC) locations in the greater Hartford area including First New England Federal Credit Union. These credit union supported service centers allow you to perform transactions such as deposits, loan payments and withdrawals on your Connex business account, real time and live. Click here to access a directory of all CUSC locations.

    • You and every other Connex member have access to free electronic services, like Call24 Automated Telephone Banking, Online Banking and Direct Deposit, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

    • Access your funds surcharge-free at more than 37,000 ATMs nationwide through our participation in the Allpoint ATM Network. Click here to search for the nearest Allpoint ATM location.

    • Our Call Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays to perform transactions and answer questions. Call 1-800-CR-UNION.

    • Six of our branches have extended hours on Thursday and Friday and are open on Saturdays as well. Click here to view our locations and hours.
