Will you opt to pay cash and save at the pump?

Recent legislation allows Connecticut gas stations the option to offer discounts to consumers who pay cash. Discounts are reported to be in the 15 to 20 cent per gallon range. Are you willing to take the extra step and go inside the station to pay cash for your gas?

I would take the extra step if it meant saving fifteen cents a gallon. Over time that will add up. Some people will drive an extra few miles to save three or four cents a gallon at a cheaper station, so just walking inside to pay should be a no-brainer.
